My name is Carlos Ruben Medina, born in Claraz, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 12, 1956. Since childhood I felt inclined toward artistic expression. In those early years of my life I did drawings for family and
friends.
In 1994 I started taking classes at the studio of the artist marplatense Alicia Agüero, receiving his guidance until 2002.
Part of my work is imbued with a clear trend towards realistic and figurative art, but anyway alternate between this strong orientation and abstract expression (incidentally I have done some cartoons).
The materials that I use to express myself, are the acrylics and oil, and applied on different media, mainly on canvas or MDF. Sometimes I also use art techniques digital.
